They called the next day to get some information which I gave and they said everything was good. Five minutes later I got an email saying my order was canceled. I waited until that evening to get a confirmation that it actually had gone through but no acknowledgment came. The next morning I got shipping confirmations from both store and cancellation was impossible. I emailed BD to tell them what happened and that I was returning their TEKTON 4936 1/2-Inch Drive by 36mm Heavy Duty FWD Impact Socket and expected a full refund. They received the pkg on 06/03 which was on a Wednesday but said it would be 3-5 days before I received my refund. Sixteen days with my money. You'd think a business would want to go the extra mile to lessen a bad experience but they stuck with their protocol. No "let's make this up to you in some way" Nothing.
OK, it turns out I was wrong. Amazon does care about its customer service. I was contacted by the manager,and not only did he seek out how I'd been affected by the ordeal, but had already taken steps to make things up to me, and invited me to ask for him personally when I made future purchases...and I will.
